I have a confession to make: this is my third blog. I hope it lasts.

The first one was called "to tell our story" from 2010/2011 while I was pregnant, filled with posts about me, Matt, how we met, funny facts, small bios about important people in our lives and last ones about Mel's first experiences in this place we call world.
It was a fulfilling experience. Writing all those stories and putting them out there with no hidden agenda, as to become a famous blogger or whatever. It was really a journal, a compilation of the most interesting stories I would like her to know someday. Surprisingly it reached a lot of people, mostly friends and friends of friends, but what really got me was reaction, the feedback. People really loved those stories too! How fascinating! I was so inspired. But then, maternity leave was over and with that all my time and inspiration.

Second blog was created in the amid desperation of turing 30. It was called "good-bye, 29". It had only 3 posts agains over 120 from "to tell our story", I think. It was ridiculous. Really.

If third is a charm, well, then I am in the right spot.

This space is to share my thoughts about life, change, family, change, freedom, change, career, change. Yep. I believe I have a lot to talk about change.

I am turning 32 years old tomorrow. Can't complain. My life is a rollercoaster and I have no plans of moving to a carousel anytime soon. This is my ride but I've been learning that sometimes you just can't see what the rails ahead are like. There's no gps, no waze, no gmaps. There is no plan. Sometimes you have to trust that after a big fall in the dark you might just loop slowly and get into a steady line on a breezy summer afternoon.

Love.
